Do you agree with the fake diamond engagement ring?

I have some friends who will never accept a false engagement ring, and others who disagree. If it is ok to fake a diamond ring? But a diamond ring to the wrong house, or invest in major investment is this? It seems that it is better to spend money until they are more money to splurge is a Diamond.
